Mirelle Vallie Inc was established in 2019 by the founding partner and director Mirellê Vallie a South African practicing attorney. The law firm together with its strategic partners has local and international experience. The firm provides legal services which are specialised and Africa focused. Mirellê Fidelia Vallie

Mirellê Fidelia Vallie has 16 years’ experience in the private and public sectors, with solid expertise in the Legal and Government industries, with work experience in South Africa, Eswatini, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia, Seychelles, Mauritius, the United Kingdom, and China. She has been a practising attorney since 2010, and is a member of the Law Practice Council of the Northern Provinces in South Africa. Mirellê is a Partner at Asafo & Co (South Africa), specialising in estates and insolvency law, corporate advisory services, governance and compliance, acquisitions, Energy Law, mergers and transfers of business, business rescue, project finance, private international law, and public international law.

Mirellê serves as National Executive member of ABRIPSA (Association of Black Business Rescue and Insolvency Practitioners of South Africa), and has been on the Masters’ panels (Insolvency) for over 13 years in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, and Cape Town, as a trustee and liquidator of insolvent estates. She represents creditors and debtors in insolvency, strategic restructuring and turnarounds, and business management prior to liquidation. She understands credit operations of financial institutions’ corporate recoveries, having been involved in many liquidations. She has acted for major creditors in South Africa.

She has experience in corporate legal advisory and project finance, having advised on various cross border transactions. Mirellê has published a chapter in Global Legal insights on Banking Regulations in South Africa 2022.

She obtained her LLB at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2004, and did her Articles of Clerkship at Strauss Daly Attorneys, where she was appointed as a Senior Associate in 2016. She was an estate controller at the Master of the High Court in Durban, worked at Absa Trust as an estate administrator, and was Acting Assistant Master at the High Court in Johannesburg.
